59dot5? What's with the name? 59dot5, or 59 1/2, is the age a person who wants to retire early can access his/her IRA and 401K retirement funds without penalty. I just made it to that milestone, but I haven't retired quite yet (more on that here). My goal with this site is to get over that hurdle and, along the way, help others who share the goal of retiring early.
